Our story began in 2012 when the inaugural All-American Model United Nations team left Boston to represent the USA at the WEMUN Expo conference hosted in Beijing, China. That first team of twelve students won Best Small Delegation with every member winning an individual award.
Since 2012, the All-American Model United Nations Programs have expanded to provide more incredible opportunities and resources to students. We now offer five honor delegations that travel to Budapest, Hungary; a rotating city in Latin America; Washington, D.C.; Beijing, China; and Hyderabad, India.
In addition to our travel delegation, we have developed a suite of online and in-person resources, including online tutorials, classroom workshops, and the MUN Portal system, which allows users to publish their conference awards and articles directly to the site!
Our Mission is to Legitimize Model United Nations
Despite its 70 year history, Model UN does not receive the recognition its students deserve. Throughout high school and college, students put several hundred of their hours into reaching foreign policies, crafting policy statements, and engaging in debate in rooms with as many as 400 other people.
Our mission is to validate that experience, encourage parents to nurture an interest in Model UN for its inherit educational benefits, better explain to college admissions the positive effects of accepting student immersed in Model UN, and cultivate a Model UN community in the United States that is supportive to all participants, with all aims and objectives.
